George Koletsos is the Chairman and CEO of ARATOR Holdings, which he founded in 2007 to lead private and public equity investments across diverse industries and markets.

He began his career in banking, serving in key roles within the shipping divisions of Credit Lyonnais Bank and Piraeus Prime Bank. He later served as Chief Executive Officer of Sarantis Group.

In addition to his corporate leadership, he has held prominent national positions, including President of the Organizing Committee for the Mediterranean Games and Secretary General and Head of the Greek National Tourism Organization.

A former elite athlete, he was a member of Greece’s national teams in both Alpine skiing and Water skiing.

He holds a BA in Economics from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, a BSc in Physical Education and Sports Science from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, an MSc in Shipping, Trade & Finance from Bayes Business School, and has completed the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School.
